Before + After
In 1930, 11th Street Bungalow was a stunner. A classic four-square stucco bungalow built by a man who clearly knew what he was doing. An architectural heirloom, the house was passed down through the family. As decades of neglect and deferred maintenance passed, it had fallen into such disrepair that it had become an unsafe living environment. Termite damage had compromised one of the two main structural girders causing the house to sink in the center taking the main waste line with it. The sunken portion of the house was jacked up, the girder rebuilt, the waste line replaced to the street, and a massive interior renovation followed.
